Pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG we hereby notify for and on behalf of
the Government of Singapore, acting by and through Ministry of Finance, 100
High Street #06-03 The Treasury, Singapore 179434, Singapore, Singapore,
that its indirect voting rights in Continental AG, Vahrenwalder Straße 9,
30165 Hanover, Germany, exceeded the threshold of 3 % on 12 October 2011
and amounted to 3.05 % (6,095,163 voting rights) of the voting rights of
Continental AG as per this date, all of which are attributed to the
Government of Singapore pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1
WpHG
via the following entity which is wholly owned by it and whose holding of
voting rights in Continental AG amounts to more than 3 %:

• Government of Singapore Investment Corporation Pte Ltd.

Furthermore, of the aforesaid 3.05 % (6,095,163 voting rights) of the
voting rights in Continental AG, 2.22 % (4,447,561 voting rights) are also
attributed to the Government of Singapore pursuant to section 22 para. (1)
sentence 1 no. 2 WpHG.
