Limited, London, England pursuant to §§ 21, 22 WpHG of the following:

Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings Limited, London, England fell below
the 3% threshold of § 21 para. 1 WpHG on 21 April 2008 and at that date
held 2.98 % of the voting rights (i.e. 4,812,720 shares with voting rights)
in Continental AG.
