herewith notifies you pursuant Section 21 para 1 German Securities Trading
Act that, on 24 April 2008, it has exceeded the threshold of 3% of the
voting rights of Continental AG, Vahrenwalder Strasse 9, 30165 Hanover,
Germany, and on that day holds 3.67% of the voting rights (=5,940,730
shares, each carrying one voting right) whereby these voting rights are
attributed to it pursuant to Section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 1 German
Securities Trading Act.
