herewith notifies you pursuant Section 21 para 1 German Securities Trading
Act that, on 1 May 2008, has fallen below the threshold of 3% of the voting
rights of Continental AG, Vahrenwalder Strasse 9, 30165 Hanover, Germany,
and on that day held 1,93% of the voting rights (=3,117,303 shares, each
carrying one voting right) whereby these voting rights are attributed to it
pursuant to Section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 1 German Securities Trading Act.
