On 1 July 2008, the stake of Capital World Growth and Income Fund, Inc. in
the voting rights in Continental AG, Vahrenwalder Straße 9, 30165 Hannover,
exceeded the threshold of 3%. On that date, Capital World Growth and Income
Fund, Inc. held 3.31% in relation to all voting rights in Continental AG
(voting rights arising from 5,350,058 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)).
