On 7 November 2007 we were notified by Europacific Growth Fund, Los
Angeles, USA pursuant to section 21 (1) WpHG of the following:

On 2 November 2007, the stake of Euopacific Growth Fund in the voting
rights in Continental AG, Vahrenwalder Straße 9, 30165 Hannover, fell below
the threshold of 5%. On that date, Europacific Growth Fund held 4,66% in
relation to all voting rights in Continental AG (voting rights arising from
7,538,000 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)). Continental AG has issued
ordinary shares only.
