Today, the Supervisory Board of Continental AG took the following
resolutions:

Effective January 1, 2010 Mr. Wolfgang Schäfer (50) has been appointed as
new member of the Executive Board. He will become the CFO of Continental
and assume responsibilities for Finance, Controlling, IT and Law. Currently
Mr. Schäfer is Executive Director at Behr GmbH & Co KG, Stuttgart. At Behr
he currently acts as CFO with responsibilities for Finance and Controlling,
Purchasing, Personnel and IT.

Mr. José A. Avila (54) is appointed member of the Executive Board of
Continental AG. As member of the Executive Board he will be responsible for
the Powertrain division. He will take over his new position effective
January 1, 2010.

Furthermore, the members of the Supervisory Board elected Prof. Dr.
Wolfgang Reitzle (60), CEO of Linde AG, chairman of the Supervisory Board
of Continental AG.
