On Saturday, the January 28, 2023, the Company has sent the Notice of Postal Ballot along with the Login ID and password to the Members for e-voting who have registered their e-mail id's with Depository Participant(s) or with the Company.

The Board of Directors of the Company has appointed Mr. Vinay Babu Gade, Company Secretary in Practice as the Scrutinizer for conducting the Postal Ballot process.

Members are requested to provide their assent or dissent through e-voting only. The Company has appointed Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) for providing evoting facility to enable the Members to cast their votes electronically. The detailed procedure for e-voting is provided in the Note No. 12 of the Notice of Postal Ballot. Members are requested to note that the e-voting shall commence from 9:00 a.m. (IST) on Monday, January 30, 2023 and end on 5:00 p.m. (IST) on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. The evoting module shall be disabled by CDSL for voting thereafter.

In accordance with the above mentioned Circulars, physical copies of the Notice of Postal Ballot along with Postal Ballot Forms and Pre-paid Business Reply Envelope will not be sent to the Members. The communication of the assent or dissent of the Members would take place through the remote e-voting system only.

The voting rights of Members shall be reckoned as on Friday, January 20, 2023, which is the cut-off date. A person who becomes a Member after the Cut-off date shall treat this notice for information purpose only. The copy of the Postal Ballot Notice is available on the Company's website at www.virinchi.com, website of the Stock Exchange i.e., BSE Limited at www.bseindia.com and on the website of CDSL at https://www.evotingindia.com/. 2 லட்சம் ஏக்கரில் சம்பா நெற்பயிர் பாதிக்கும் அபாயம் தமிழகத்தில் டெல்டா விவசாயிகள் ஒரேநீராதாரமாக மேட்டூர் அணை இருந்து நேற்று மூடப்பட்ட நிலையில் கல்லணைக்கு பிப்ரவரி முழுவதும் திறக்க விவசாயிகள் வலியுறுத்தல் வரக்கூடிய தண்ணீரைக் கொண்டு தேவைப்படும் வருகிறது. மேட்டூர் அணை மூலம் 12 காவிரி பகுதிகளுக்கு சிறிது சிறிதாக பகிர்ந்து டெல்டா மாவட்டங்களில் 16.05 லட்சம் ஏக்கர் அளித்தாலும் அதிகபட்சமாக ஒரு வாரத்துக்கு நிலங்கள் பாசன வசதி பெறுகின்றன.

தண்ணீர் திறப்பு

ஆண்டுதோறும் ஜூன் 12–ந்தேதி முதல் ஜனவரி 28–ந்தேதி வரை 230 நாட்களுக்குமேட்டூர் அணையிலிருந்து காவிரி டெல்டா பாசனத்திற்கு தண்ணீர் திறக்கப்பட வேண் டும். இது காலந்தொட்டு நடைமுறையில் இருந்து வருகிறது.

இந்த நிலையில் தற்போது 249 நாட்களுக்குட் பிறகு நேற்று மாலை 6 மணிக்கு தண்ணீர் திறப்பது நிறுத்தப் பட்டது. இந்த நிலையில் தண்ணீர் திறப்பு திடீரென நிறுத்தப்பட்டதால் டெல்டா மாவட்டங்களில் 2 லட்சம் ஏக்கரில் பயிரிடப்பட்ட சம்பா, தாளடி நெற்பயிர்கள் பாதிக்கக்கூடிய அபாய நிலை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளதாக விவசாயிகள் கவலை தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

இலக்கை தாண்டியது

மேட்டூர் அணை கடந்த ஆண்டு மே மாதத்திலேயே நிரம்பும் நிலை ஏற்பட்டதால் டெல்டா பாசனத்திற்காக வழக்கத்தை விட முன் கூட்டியே மே 24-ந்தேதி திறக்கப்பட்டது. இதன் மூலம் தஞ்சாவூர், நாகப்பட்டினம், திருவாரூர், மயிலாடுதுறை ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களில் இலக்கையும் தாண்டி 4.72 லட்சம் ஏக்கரில் குறுவை நெல் சாகுபடி செய்யப் பட்டது. மேலும் சம்பா, தாளடி பருவத்திலும்

தஞ்சாவூர் மாவட்டத்தில் 3.47 லட்சம் ஏக்கரிலும், திருவாரூர் மாவட்டத்தில் 3.75 $\omega$ L $\sin$ ஏக்கரிலும், நாகை மாவட்டத்தில் 1.67 லட்சம் ஏக்கரிலும், மயிலாடுதுறை மாவட்டத்தில் 1.80 லட்சம் ஏக்கரிலும் என மொத்தம் 10.69 லட்சம் ஏக்கரில் நற்பெயர்கள் சாகுபடி செய்யப்பட்டன.

இதில் முன்பட்ட சம்பா சாகுபடி பணிகளை தொடங்கிய விவசாயிகள் கடந்த டிசம்பர் மாதம் இறுதி வாரத்தில் இருந்து அறுவடையைதொடங்கி விட்டனர். இருந்தபோதிலும்இதுவரை 10 முதல் 15 சதவீத பரப்பில் மட்டுமே

அறுவடை பணிகள் முடிந்துள்ளதாக கூறப்படுகிறது. ஆகவே சம்பா தாளடி பருவ அறுவடை பணிகள் வருகிற பிப்ரவரி மாதத்தில் நிலையை எட்டும் உச்ச எ ன எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

திடீர் நிறுத்தம்

இதற்கிடையே மேட்டூர் அணை வழக்கம்போல் ஜனவரி 28–ந்தேதி மாலை 6 மணியுடன் .மூடப்பட்டதால் விவசாயிகளுக்கு பாதிப்பு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. சம்பா பயிர்களை பொருத்தவரை பெரும்பாலான இடங்களில் கதிர் விட்டு அறுவடைக்கு தயாராகும் நிலையில் உள் ளது. இது தொடர்பாக தமிழ் நாடு காவிரி விவசாயிகள் சங்க பொதுச் செயலாளர் பி.ஆர். கூறும்போது, தஞ்சாவூர் பாண்டியன் மாவட்டம் செங்கிப்பட்டி உள்ளிட்ட மேட்டுப்பகுதிகளில் தண் ணீர் வருவதில் தாமதம் ஏற்பட்டதால் சாகுபடி பணிகளும் தாமதமாகவே தொடங்கப்பட்டன. மேற் கண்ட .இடங்களில் பயிர்கள் வளர்ச்சி நிலையிலேயே இருக்கிறது.

மழையால் சாகுபடி பணிகள் தொடர் தாமதமாக தொடங்கப்பட்ட பகுதிகளிலும் அறுவடைக்கு தயாராக ஒரு மாதமாகும் தூழல் உள்ளது. அதேபோன்று குருவையை முடித்த விவசாயிகளும் தொடர் மழையால் தாளடி

ஒரே நாளில் 100 டன் பேச்சாளை மீன்கள் பிழபட்டது

பணிகளை தாமதமாகவே தொடங்கினர்.

சம்பா பயிர் பாதிப்பு மேலும் சம்பா தாளடி பயிர்களில் தொடர் மழையால் இளம் பயிர்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டது. அதைத் தொடர்ந்து மறு சாகுபடி நவம்பர் மாத இறுதியிலும் டிசம்பரிலும் தொடங்கினர். குறிப்பாக மயிலாடுதுறை மாவட்டம் சீர்காழி பகுதியில் சம்பா தாளடி பயிர்கள் பெருமளவில் பாதிக்கப்பட்டதால் பெரும் பாலான விவசாயி மறு சாகுபடிக்கு இறங்க வேண்டிய கள் நிலை ஏற்பட்டது. இதனால் இந்த பயிர்களுக்கு .இனிமேலும் தொடர்ச்சியாக காவிரி நீர் ததவைப்படுகிறது. தற்போது மேட்டூர் அணை மட்டுமே தண்ணீர் கிடைக்கும் தூழல் உள்ளது. அதன்பிறகு பயிர்கள் வாடும் அபாயம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த ஒரு வார காலத்திலும் மிகக் குறைவான அளவிலேயே தண்ணீர் திறக்கப்படும் நிலை இருப்பதால் தேவையான .இடங்களுக்கு பரவலாக தண்ணீர் கிடைக்காது.

ஆகவே மேட்டூர் அணையில் இருந்து குறைந்த பட்சம் பிப்ரவரி 15–ந்தேதி வரை தண்ணீர் திறந்து விட்டால் மட்டுமே பயிர்களை காப் பாற்ற முடியும் என்றார்.

தென்னிந்திய நதிகள் இணைப்பு விவசாயிகள் சங்க தலைவர் அய்யாக்கண்ணு கூறுகையில், திருச்சி மாவட்டத்தில் முசிறி, தொட்டியம், மண்ணச்சநல்லூர் தாலுகா பகுதிகளில் சம்பா பயிர்கள் கதிர் விடும் நிலையில் இருக்கின்றது. நிலையில் தண்ணீர் இந்த திறப்பு .நிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளதால் பயிர்களை காப்பாற்ற முடியாத நிலை ஏற்பட்டுள் ளது. மேட்டூர் அணையில் நிரம்ப நீர் இருக்கிறது. ஆகவே பிப்ரவரி மாத கடைசி வரை தண்ணீர் திறக்க வேண்டும்.

கடந்த காலங்களிலும் விவசாயிகளின் கோரிக் கையை ஏற்று தண்ணீர் திறப்பு தேதி நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டுள் ளது. இல்லையெனில் ஊற்று தண்ணீரை குரம்பு கட்டியாவது விவசா யிகளுக்கு தடை இன்றி தண்ணீர் கிடைக்கவழி வகை செய்ய வேண்டும்.

ஒட்டுமொத்தத்தில் டெல்டா மாவட்டங்களில் 2 லட்சம் ஏக்கர் பயிர்களுக்கு தண்ணீர் தேவைப்படுகிறது. மேட்டூர் அணையில் இருந்து தண்ணீர் திறந்து விடாவிட்டால் 2 லட்சம் ஏக்கர் பயிர்கள் பாதிக்கும் அபாயம் உள்ளதால் தமிழக உடனடியாக மேட்டூர் அணையில் அரசு இருந்து தண்ணீர் திறந்து விடுவதை உறுதி செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றார்.

கீழ் முருங்கைபகுதியை சேர்ந்தவர் ரம்யா (25). தேர்ச்சி பெற்று சென்னை இவர் சென்னையில் உள்ள .தனியார் ஆஸ்பத்திரியில் நர்சாக வேலை செய்து வருகிறார். ஜெயகணேசனும், ரம்யாவும் கடந்த 7 ஆண்டுகளாக காதலித்து வந்துள்ளனர்.

இவர்களது காதலுக்கு ஜெய கணேசனின் பெற்றோர் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்ததால் கடந்த 2016–ம் ஆண்டு வாணியம்பாடி அருகே உள்ள முருகன் கோவிலில் ..................................... கூறப்படுகிறது. இதையடுத்துஜெயகணேசன் போலீசில்

ஆ்வடியில் உள்ள ஆயுதப்படைபோலீசில் வேலை செய்து வருகிறார். அப்போது கரூரைசேர்ந்த பெண் போலீஸ் ஒருவர் ஆயுதப்படையில் ஆவடி ஆவடி ஆயுறப்படையில்பயிற்சிக்காக வந்து இருந்தார்.அ. வ. ரு. க. கு. ம்ஜெய்கவேசனுக்கும் காதல்

ற்கான ஆதாரம் இருந்தால் அவர் மீது நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பதாக கூறி ரம்யாவை போலீசார் திருப்பி அனுப்பி உள்ளனர்.

சேர்ந்த சிலரு டன் சேர்ந்து ஸ்ரீதரிடம் பணம் கேட்டு மிரட்டினார். நேற்று இரவு ஸ்ரீதர் தனது குடும்பத்துடன் ்வீட்டில்

தூங்கினார். நள்ளிரவில் மர்ம நபர்கள் அவரது வீட்டின் மீது பெட்ரோல் குண்டுகளை வீசினர். அது பயங்கர சத்தத்துடன் வெடித்தது.

இந்த குண்டு வீச்சில்வீட்டில் நிறுத்தி வைக்கப் பட்டிருந்து 2 மோட்டார்சைக்கிள்கள் தீப்பிடித்துஎரிந்தது. சத்தம் கேட்டு ஸ்ரீதர் மற்றும் வீட்டில் உள்ளவர்கள்வெளியே ஓடிவந்தனர். ஆட்கள் வருவதை அறிந்த மர்ம நபர்கள் அங்கிருந்து தப்பி ஓடிவிட்டனர்.

பகுதியை சேர்ந்த விகாஷ் என்பவர் கடந்த 21–ந் தேதி காரில் கோவை நோக்கி சென்ற போது, பவானிஅருகே தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலை யில், மற்றொரு காரில் பின்தொடர்ந்து வந்த கும்பல் காரை வழிமறித்து அவரைதாக்கி காரை கடத்தி சென்றது. அடுத்த சில மணி நேரத்தில் சித்தோடு அருகே சாலை யோரம் நிறுத்தப்பட்டிருந்தஅந்த கார் மீட்கப்பட்டது. காரில் ரூ.2 கோடி பணம் இருந்ததாகவும், மர்ம கும்பல் அதனை கொள்ளை யடித்து சென்றதாகவும் விகாஸ் சித்தோடு போலீஸ் நிலை யத்தில் புகார் அளித்திருந்தார். . இந்த நிலையில்சித்தோட்டில் போலீசார் வாகன
