Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Cluff Natural Resources plc, a company founded by Algy Cluff, which focuses on investing in global oil & gas and mining assets, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Graham Swindells as the Company's Chief Financial Officer.

Graham has worked in corporate finance for the past 12 years, during which time he has specialised in advising mid and small-cap public companies.  Most recently, Graham was a Director in Ernst & Young's Mergers & Acquisitions Team.  Previously, Graham was a Director in Corporate Finance at Arbuthnot Securities where he gained significant natural resources experience acting as nominated adviser and broker to a variety of companies in the sector.

Graham qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Scotland with BDO Stoy Hayward and subsequently spent two years at PricewaterhouseCoopers specialising in corporate recovery and restructuring.

Graham graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree.

Mr Algy Cluff, Chairman and Chief Executive of Cluff Natural Resources, commented, "I am delighted to welcome Graham to the Company.  Graham is joining Cluff Natural Resources at an exciting time following the recent announcement of our award of two UK Underground Coal Gasification Licences.  At present, we are reviewing a number of potential oil, gas and mining assets to add to our portfolio and Graham will be instrumental in helping to assess those projects as well as overseeing the finance operations of the Company."
