CONNECTED IO INCREASES PENETRATION IN US$8.8b IOT SECURITY MARKET

The Board of Connected IO Limited (CIO) is pleased to advise that Rosco Vision Systems (“Rosco”) continues to expand their growing relationship with the Company with orders for an additional 1,000 Cat-1 units to meet the demand for deliveries by the end of 2017. Additionally, Rosco has advised CIO that it is forecasting a 500% increase in orders for CIO product in calendar year 2018.
Rosco has been a customer of CIO since February 2016 and has now ordered approximately 3,000 units in that time. Rosco’s continuing ramp up in purchase orders and strong outlook for CIO product in 2018 demonstrates the continuing penetration of the Company’s product in the North American wireless security and surveillance market, which is projected to reach US$6b by 2021 with a CAGR of 8%. These markets represent only a small portion of the six verticals CIO remains focused on which represent a total market in excess of US$1 trillion.
Rosco is one of North America’s leading suppliers of camera systems and other visual safety solutions to the commercial vehicle market. Rosco also engineers and manufactures visual safety systems for all types of commercial fleet vehicles. CIO CEO Yakov Temov said, “We are pleased with the traction Rosco is seeing in the market, and how we continue to expand our relationship. The anticipated demand from Rosco along with a number of existing CIO customers including Cascade, VRS Fleet and Presidio, selecting CIO products to enable, secure, reliable solutions has increased our outlook for 2018. CIO expects units to increase by over 1,100% in North America in the Security and Surveillance Market alone”.
