APPOINTMENT OF ADDITIONAL NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Computershare Limited (ASX:CPU) announced today that it has appointed Dr. Markus Kerber to its Board as an additional independent non-executive director.
Dr. Kerber brings a strong understanding of European financial and technology markets having previously held senior positions with Deutsche Bank and S.G.Warburg & Co.Ltd. Dr. Kerber has in recent years played an integral role in the acquisition and internationalisation strategy of GFT Technologies AG where he remains a Supervisory Board member. GFT Technologies AG is a leading technology company for integrated e-Business solutions in Europe.
Dr.Kerber holds a Master Degree in Business and a Ph.D in Political Science from Hohenheim University in Germany.
The Company's Chairman. Mr Alexander (Sandy) Murdoch, said that Computershare is delighted to have Dr.Kerber join the Board and noted that his addition will further strengthen the Company's European board representation following the appointment of Tom Butler last year.
Dr. Kerber is based in Berlin, Germany.
