Australian Financial Review Article
Compumedics Limited (ASX: CMP) provides the following statement in relation to todays article in the Australian Financial Review (AFR), which referred to Compumedics and its business in China.
Compumedics has relationships with a number of key distributors in China. These distributors all use sub-distributors in various provinces in China.
Compumedics is not connected with the Company referred to in the AFR article. The Company is not known to Compumedics, nor authorized in any way by Compumedics.
Once again we reiterate, Compumedics has no knowledge or involvement in the alleged issue.
Naturally we will undertake our own investigation and review our own policies in order to determine if there is anything further we can do, from our own corporate governance perspective, to avoid issues of this nature arising in the future.
Compumedics has been in business for almost 30 years, the last 16 of which have been as a public company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, and has an exemplary record when it comes to corporate governance and regulatory compliance, both in Australia and the international countries it does business in.
