The Board of Directors of Componenta Corporation decided to issue a bond

The Board of Directors of Componenta Corporation decided to issue a bond for subscription by a limited group of selected investors. The company intends to use the assets to be obtained with the bond for general refinancing purposes and strengthening the company's financial position.

The Board of Directors has approved the subscriptions of the bond. The amount of the bond 2010 is EUR 26,870,000. The rate of issue of the bond is 100%, and the annual fixed interest to be paid on the principal of the bond is 8.00%. The maturity of the bond is three years. The bond does not include a right to exchange shares.

The company will decide on the application for public listing of the bond on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd by the end of the year 2010.
