Tapio Rantala to become Director, Business Development at Componenta Tapio Rantala (55), Lic. Sc. (Tech.) has been appointed Director, Business Development at Componenta Corporation and a member of the Corporate Executive Team as from 1 May 2008. Tapio Rantala will be responsible for development projects for foundry operations and for managing and developing purchasing and internal sourcing. In his work Tapio Rantala will report to President and CEO Heikki Lehtonen and concerning purchasing activities to Olli Karhunen, Senior Vice President at the Foundries Division. Marko Sipola, who has been responsible for business development, is leaving to become President of the Viafin Group in summer 2008.
