Release of Securities from Escrow

Resource Star Limited (ASX:DUO) in compliance with ASX Listing Rule 3.10A hereby gives notice that the following restricted securities are due to be released from escrow on 1 March 2012:

• 760,000 ordinary fully paid Shares; and

• 800,000 Unlisted Options expiring 15 July 2012

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 2.8.2, Resource Star Limited will apply to the ASX for official quotation of the 760,000 Shares within 10 business days of the 1 March 2012.

Of the 800,000 Unlisted Options on issue; 250,000 Options lapsed on 1 July 2011. The 800,000 Unlisted Options had been issued to the Company’s former Chief Executive Officer who resigned on 5 July 2010; the Options had various vesting dates and the last vesting date was 1 July 2011.

The Audit and Risk Management Committee resolved that the former CEO was not entitled to the Options with a vesting date that was outside his period of employment.
