CAPITAL RAISING OVERSUBSCRIBED

Retail Star Limited (the "Company") is pleased to advise that it has completed the capital raising under its shortform Prospectus (the "Prospectus") dated 6 December 2006. The offer has now closed. As a result, 40,000,000 shares were issued at 1.2 cents each to raise \$480,000 (before expenses).

In addition, the Company confirms that securities have been allotted as per the Appendix 3B released to the market on 6 December 2006. Despatch of holding statements for securities issued as part of the Prospectus will occur on 21 December 2006.
