APPOINTMENT OF COMMUNICATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY EXPERT NEIL VERRALL AS CHAIRMAN

Resource Star Limited (ASX:RSL) is pleased to announce that Neil Verrall will be appointed to the role of Non-Executive Chairman of the Board on the completion of the acquisition of Cloud Lands Digital Fortress Ltd (Cloud Lands).

In August 2014, Resource Star entered into a binding terms sheet (“Terms Sheet”) for an option to acquire 100% of the issued capital of Cloud Lands (“Acquisition”).

As part of the revised board structure following completion of the transaction, Mr Verrall will chair both Resource Star Limited and the newly acquired entity.

Mr Verrall is a well-known and respected information technology and communications (ICT) industry veteran, with over 30 years of industry experience. Throughout his career he has held senior executive sales and marketing positions with a variety of successful ICT companies including Telstra, Leighton Telecommunications Group, Nextgen Networks and Powertel. In 2002 he joined Uecomm and was responsible for overseeing the assembly of its sales channel, and successfully turned around the company during a challenging economic period.

The appointment of Mr Verrall as Chairman of Resource Star Limited (to be renamed Cloud Lands Digital Ltd) is subject to RSL shareholder approval at the Company’s next general meeting.
