Board Movements

Resource Star Limited ( RSL or the Company ) announces the appointment of a new board director - Mr George Karantzias has been appointed as a non-executive director.

Mr Karantzias is a director of Alpha Securities Pty Ltd, a boutique financial services company based in Sydney. He has over twenty years’ experience in a variety of senior roles in the financial industry, including as Head of Operations at Etrade Australia Securities Ltd.

At the same time Mr Chris Burrell steps down as a director to pursue other business interests.

Mr Andrew Bell becomes acting Chief Executive Director.

Andrew Bell, the Company’s Chairman, states: “We welcome our new colleague whose experience and wide range of contacts will strengthen the board. With this first appointment, as with other appointments under negotiation, the Company looks to strengthen its ability to execute its strategy of identifying and financing new ventures, particularly in the field of energy. In 2014 we will pursue this strategy with aggression and dedication”.
