Resource Star Limited Director and Officer Changes

Resource Star Limited wishes to advise that Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mr Ian Scott has notified the Company of his intention to resign for medical reasons. Mr Scott will commence leave from July 9, with his termination effective from August 25. He has announced his intention to step down from the Boards of Resource Star Limited, Orion Exploration Limited and Eastbourne Exploration Limited, effective from July 9.

The Board expresses its appreciation to Ian for his contribution to the Company over the past two years and wishes him the very best for his future.

Resource Star is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Richard Evans as Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Evans has qualifications in both geology and business, and spent 18 years with WMC Limited in a variety of technical, commercial and managerial roles; including front-line exploration and production, project assessment and feasibility. This also included five years based in South Africa and Mozambique progressing WMC's Corridor Sands Project. Over the last four years he has worked as a minerals industry consultant, including assisting Resource Star Ltd with the recent project search process. He has broad international experience, including work on a variety of uranium exploration projects in three countries.

In addition, Mr Robert Benussi has been invited to become a non-executive director.

Mr Benussi has had extensive industry experience, the most recent of which has included roles as Company Secretary, Chief Financial Officer, Acting CEO and General Manager – Corporate for Jupiter Mines Limited.

The Company welcomes Richard and Robert.
