Resignation of Michael Faulkner

The Board of Gowinas Retail has received the resignation of Michael Faulkner, Director, Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer. The company and Michael Faulkner have agreed an effective resignation date of 4 April 2003.

Peter Sillick the Managing Director said that Michael Faulkner had been instrumental in the transition of the business into a stand alone listed company and the development of Gowings Retail's latest two stores, Parramatta and Hornsby.

The Board is grateful for the strong contribution and dedication Michael Faulkner has shown the company over the last three years and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Michael Alscher will become Company Secretary until a permanent replacement is found for Michael Faulkner. A recruitment process is under way and the company expects to be able to make an announcement in the near future.
