NOTIFICATION AND PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF TRANSACTIONS BY PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERSONS CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH THEM

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following changes in the interests of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") in ordinary shares of 11 1/20 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").

On 16 December 2020, Ms Karen Witts, a director of the Company, purchased 7,011 shares at £14.155 per Share.

Following this transaction, Ms Witts' total interest in 27,762 Shares represents 0.002% of the Company's issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).
