NOTIFICATION AND PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF TRANSACTIONS BY PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERSONS CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH THEM

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following changes in the interests of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") in ordinary shares of 11 1/20 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").

On 4 June 2020, Mark van Dyck, a PDMR of the Company, transferred 27,345 Shares held on his behalf into his family trust, LMVD Management Pty Limited. Following this transaction Mr van Dyck's interests in the Shares of the Company remain unchanged.

The following notification has been made to the Financial Conduct Authority in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation in respect of the above:
