COMPASS GROUP PLC

NOTIFICATION AND PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF TRANSACTIONS BY PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERSONS CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH THEM

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following change in the interests of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") in ordinary shares of 11 1/20 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares"):

On 27 June 2019, Ms Anne-Francoise Nesmes, Non-executive director purchased 1,326 Shares in the Company at £18.74 per Share.

On 27 June 2019, Mr Jeramy Rankine, a person closely associated with Ms Anne-Francoise Nesmes, purchased 796 Shares in the Company at £18.7149 per Share.

Following this purchase, Ms Nesmes' interests in Shares stands at 2,122 Shares, representing 0.0001% of the Company's issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).

The following notifications have been made to the Financial Conduct Authority in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation in respect of the above:
