NOTIFICATION AND PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF TRANSACTIONS BY PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERSONS CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH THEM

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following changes in the interests of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") in ordinary shares of 11 1/20 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").

Deferred Annual Bonus award (DAB) 2015/16 releases:

Following satisfaction of the associated performance conditions:

15,526 DAB Shares were released to Juergen Thamm, a PDMR, and issued on 26 November 2018. 8,032 Shares were subsequently sold to cover resultant tax and social security liabilities, with a balance of 7,494 Shares being retained by Mr Thamm. Following this transaction Mr Thamm's shareholding has increased to 138,657 Shares equating to 0.0087% percent of the issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).

12,236 DAB Shares were released to Mark van Dyck, a PDMR, and issued on 26 November 2018. 5,775 Shares were subsequently sold to cover resultant tax and social security liabilities, with a balance of 6,461 Shares being retained by Mr van Dyck. Following this transaction Mr van Dyck's shareholding has increased to 56,514 Shares equating to 0.0036% percent of the issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).

The following notifications have been made to the Financial Conduct Authority in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation in respect of the above:
