COMPASS GROUP PLC

NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS/PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CONNECTED PERSONS

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following changes in the interests of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") in ordinary shares of 11 1/20 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").

·     On 30 July 2018, Mrs Carol Arrowsmith, a non-executive director of the Company, received an additional 75 Shares through the Company's Dividend Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP") at 1626.910 pence each per Share.

Following this transaction, Mrs Arrowsmith's shareholding has increased to 10,121 Shares, representing 0.0006% of the Company's issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).

·     On 30 July 2018, Mr John Bason, a non-executive director of the Company, received an additional 37 Shares through the Company's Dividend Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP") at 1626.910 pence each per Share.

Following this transaction, Mr Bason's shareholding has increased to 11,976 Shares representing 0.0008% of the Company's issued share capital (excluding treasury shares.
