NOTIFICATION AND PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF TRANSACTIONS BY PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERSONS CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH THEM

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following changes in the interest of a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") in ordinary shares of 11 1/20 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").

Restricted Share Award (RSA) release:

Following satisfaction of the associated performance conditions, 10,579 RSA Shares were released to Venkatesh Shantaram, a PDMR and issued on 10 May 2018.

4,964 Shares were subsequently sold to cover resultant tax and social security liabilities, with a balance of 5,615 Shares being retained by Mr Shantaram.

Following this transaction Mr Shantaram has a shareholding of 5,615 Shares equating to 0.0004 percent of the issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).

The following notification has been made to the Financial Conduct Authority in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation in respect of the above:
