NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS/PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CONNECTED PERSONS

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following change in the interests of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") in ordinary shares of 11 1/20 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares"):

On 8 March 2018, Mrs Ireena Vittal, Non-Executive Director purchased 1,834 Shares in the Company at a price of 1515 pence per Share.

Following this purchase, Mrs Vittal's shareholding stands at 3,625 Shares, representing 0.0002% of the Company's issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).

The following notification has been made to the Financial Conduct Authority in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation in respect of the above:
