Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following change in the interests of a Director in ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").

On 20 September 2016, Mr Stefan Bomhard, Non-Executive Director purchased 6,100 Shares in the Company at a price of £14.86 each per Share.

Following this purchase, Mr Bomhard's shareholding stands at 6,100 Shares, representing 0.00037% of the Company's issued share capital.
