NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS/PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CONNECTED PERSONS

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following change in the interests of a Director in ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").

On 11 September 2014, Mrs Carol Arrowsmith, Non-Executive Director purchased 4,035 Shares in the Company at a price of 985.99 pence each per Share.

Following this purchase, Mrs Arrowsmith's shareholding stands at 4,035 Shares, representing 0.00024% of the Company's issued share capital.
