SAINT-GOBAIN ANNOUNCES THAT IT HAS ENTERED INTO EXCLUSIVE NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE SALE OF SFIC BELGIUM, A SPECIALIST CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS
Saint-Gobain announces that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Ponsardin Industries for the sale of SFIC Belgium, a specialist construction materials distribution business of plasterboard, insulation and ceilings in the Belgian market.
With estimated 2025 sales of around €75 million and 123 employees, SFIC operates a network of 10 branches with nationwide coverage across Belgium.
Subject to the completion of the information and consultation procedure with the relevant employee representative bodies, the disposal process should be finalized by the end of 2025.
This transaction is part of Saint-Gobain's continued portfolio optimization strategy.
