PRESS RELEASE

SAINT-GOBAIN'S MORTARS DIVISION CONTINUES TO EXPAND IN FAST-GROWING COUNTRIES

Consolidation in Slovenia

Weber has strengthened its presence in Slovenia through the acquisition of the activities of Demit, a company specializing in ETICS mortars based in Laško. The acquisition adds a strong base to serve regional market demand for external thermal insulation systems.

Foothold in Albania

Weber has acquired the activities of Italcol, a mortars manufacturer based in Tirana and specialized in tile adhesives and technical mortars. This transaction allows Weber to gain an industrial foothold in the East Adriatic region and strengthens its ability to meet local and regional demand for technical and innovative products.

Expansion in Brazil

Weber Quarzolit, Saint-Gobain's Mortars division in Brazil, has strengthened its presence in the country thanks to the acquisition of Jaspe Argamassas Ltda, a manufacturing company specializing in tile adhesives based in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul in the Central-West region of the country. Weber Quartzolit will benefit from Jaspe Argamassas Ltda's local industrial infrastructure in pursuing its development going forward.

These transactions are in line with Saint-Gobain's strategy to increase the share of its industrial assets located outside Western Europe.
