Item 8.01. Other Events

On August 10, 2017, Central Valley Community Bancorp (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that Folsom Lake Bank shareholders approved the merger between Folsom Lake Bank and the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Central Valley Community Bank, at a special meeting held on August 10, 2017. The trans action is expected to be completed on October 1, 2017 subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
