Comms Group expands operations in Asia Pacific with award of key telco licences in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Japan

Comms Group Limited (ASX: CCG), a leading provider of telecommunications services, is pleased to announce that the global division of Comms Group, via its 100% owned subsidiaries, has been awarded key Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) licenses in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Japan. This strategic milestone will enable Comms Group Global to expand its service offerings and enhance its market presence across the Asia-Pacific region.

Malaysia

Comms Group Operations Malaysia Sdn Bhd*, a subsidiary of Comms Group Limited, has secured the Application Service Provider (ASP) license from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). This license allows the company to provide VoIP services nationwide, catering to both residential and business customers with high-quality, reliable voice communication solutions.

Hong Kong

In Hong Kong, Comms Choice International Hong Kong Limited* has been granted the Services-Based Operator (SBO) license by the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA). This license permits the company to offer a wide range of VoIP services, including international voice services, to meet the growing demand for innovative communication solutions in one of Asia's leading financial hubs.

Indonesia

The Directorate General of Post and Informatics (DGPI) of Indonesia has awarded Comms Group (International) Pte Ltd* the Operation of Telecommunications Services license. This crucial authorisation will enable the company to deploy advanced VoIP services across Indonesia, enhancing connectivity and supporting the digital transformation of businesses throughout the archipelago.

Japan

In Japan, Comms Group (International) Pte Ltd* has obtained the Telecommunications Carrier (Type II) license from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC). This license allows the company to provide VoIP services, leveraging Japan's sophisticated telecommunications infrastructure to deliver high-quality voice solutions to enterprises and consumers alike.
