Appointment of new Non-Executive Director

Comet Ridge Limited (ASX:COI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Non-Executive Director, Mr Michael Dart who joins the Board effective today.

Michael Dart has more than 20 years commercial experience working in M&A and finance, innovation, commercialisation and venture capital across the business cycle. Michael has a strong background in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and spent a total of 7 years working for EY in their M&A team, ultimately being the M&A lead for oil, gas and resources for the east coast of Australia.

‘We are delighted to welcome Mike to the Comet Ridge Board’ Comet Ridge Chairman, Mr James McKay said. He added that ‘Mike will add further depth and experience to the board at a time when Comet Ridge looks to build its gas reserves for delivery into an increasingly tight Eastern Australian gas market’.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment. He will also be appointed as a member of the Audit, Risk and Remuneration Committees reflecting his status as an independent Non-Executive Director.

The Board welcomes Michael to Comet Ridge as a Non-Executive Director and looks forward to his contribution to the Company’s next stage of development.
