NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT
Coles Group Limited (Coles, ASX: COL) today announced the appointment of Mr Andrew Penn AO as a Non-Executive Director, effective 1 December 2023.
The Chairman of Coles, James Graham, said that he very much looked forward to Mr Penn joining the Coles Board: “Andy will bring his significant Australian corporate and customer facing experience to the Board.
“As a past Chief Executive of both Telstra and AXA Asia Pacific, Andy has a strong background in large corporations where the application of technology has assisted the repositioning and strengthening of businesses in competitive markets.
“Andy is a member of the Australian Signals Directorate REDSPICE Advisory Board and Chairs the Expert Advisory Panel for Australia’s Cyber Security Strategy.
“Andy will assume the role as Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee from the commencement of his Board appointment.”
