Sintra Inc., a Colas subsidiary in Quebec, has acquired assets from La Compagnie Meloche Inc.

Sintra Inc., a Colas Canada subsidiary in Quebec, has acquired assets from La Compagnie Meloche Inc., which operates in the western region of Montreal.

With two main locations, one in Kirkland on the Island of Montreal and one in Côteau-du-Lac in Montérégie, Meloche boasts a quarry, two asphalt plants, two concrete plants, and a concrete post manufacturing unit. The company also performs road works.

This acquisition is fully in line with Colas' targeted external growth strategy in North America.
