Arkéa Creative Care and Cogelec combine their connected solutions to promote healthy aging

Arkéa Creative Care, an innovative brand in technological services for senior serviced residences and nursing homes, and Cogelec, the French leader in intercom and wireless access control for building complexes, are announcing a collaborative effort. Combining their solutions, Cogelec's Intratone wireless intercoms will be integrated into Arkéa Creative Care's touchscreen center to provide residents with more security and comfort.

The partnership responds to the challenges of population aging and adapting housing to the needs of the elderly. Already rolled out in serviced residences for seniors and soon to be installed in Mobicap residences, the combined innovations of Arkea Creative Care and Cogelec will also respond to the needs of social landlords and co-owner associations seeking to fulfill the needs of aging residents.

Simple to use and convenient for people who do not have a smartphone or who are losing their autonomy, the Intratone intercom connected to the touchscreen center brings residents peace of mind by providing them with comfort and security.

Users of the new service can:

• receive calls from the intercom on the touchscreen tablet and accept or refuse access;
• view the visitor on their tablet and decide whether or not to open the door.

Arkéa Creative Care's touchscreen center boasts further functionalities that address the challenges of an aging population, including the centralized management of smart homes (home automation), remote consultations, remote assistance, and communication by video and chat sessions with relatives.

Cogelec is currently working on a number of innovative projects in favor of aging and home care. It recently formed a partnership with KONE elevators that connect intercoms to elevators, facilitating access to housing for seniors or people with reduced mobility. Cogelec also recently created the first connected multi-point lock on the market, for which it

received the "Coup de Coeur" award in the Home and Home Service category at the Silver Eco show.
