On October 5, 2016, Codexis, Inc. announced the completion of the second and final phase in the transfer of its proprietary CodeEvolver® protein engineering platform technology to Merck, known as MSD outside the United States and Canada. The full text of the press release issued in connection with the announcement is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
