Codan wins significant contract to supply communications equipment into a military program

DTC Communications Inc ( DTC ), a wholly owned subsidiary of Codan Limited ( Codan ), and part of the Codan Communications business, has secured a multi-year contract to supply DTC software defined mesh radios to a publicly listed Fitch AAA credit rated global technology corporation as part of a sensitive military program ( Program ).

The initial purchase order received today for DTC products to be delivered in the upcoming 12-month period is USD 28.2 million (approximately AUD 37.6 million), of which, 60%, is likely to be delivered in FY22. The purchase order and agreement that underpin the Program is subject to standard and customary termination provisions.

This is a strategically important contract for our recently acquired DTC business. This contract is consistent with Codan’s strategy to grow our business by successfully delivering communications solutions to the security and military sectors globally.
