COCHLEAR LIMITED: CEO HANDOVER EFFECTIVE AND RELATED BOARD CHANGES

Cochlear Limited, Sydney 31 August 2015 (ASX: COH):

In line with the announcements made on 26[th] May 2015 and in the Annual Report lodged on 11[th] August 2015:

Mr Christopher Michael Smith’s appointment as CEO / President of Cochlear will be effective from 1 September 2015. Mr Smith has also been appointed as an Executive Director with effect from the same date; and

Dr Christopher Graham Roberts will today step down from the CEO/President role and, accordingly, he will also cease to be a director of Cochlear.
