Subject: Appointment of Independent Directors

1. Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it is hereby informed that, the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways vide their letter No. SY-11012/1/2016-CSL dated November 22, 2021, appointed Smt. Amrapali Prashant Salve, Shri Nahar Singh Maheshwari, Shri Ashok Sharma, Shri Prithviraj Harichandan, Shri Venkatesan M and Shri Abhijit Biswas as Non-Official (Independent) Directors on the Board of CSL for a period of three years from November 22, 2021 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

2. The brief profile of the Independent Directors are given below:

Smt. Amrapali Prashant Salve holds a Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from Mumbai University. She hails from Maharashtra and her area of specialisation is social service. She is not related to any of the existing Directors of CSL.

Shri Nahar Singh Maheshwari is a Post Graduate in Law from Rajasthan University. He also holds a degree in Master of Arts in Political Science from Rajasthan University. Shri Nahar Singh Maheshwari is a lawyer by profession and is an Advocate on the roll of Bar Council of Rajasthan since 1989. He hails from Rajasthan and his area of specialisation includes Legal, Management and Social Service. He is not related to any of the existing Directors of CSL.

Shri Ashok Sharma holds a Doctorate in Management from Meerut University. He also holds a Degree of Master of Arts in History, Degree in LLB and Diploma in Journalism. He is the Ex Managing Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society. Shri Ashok Sharma hails from Uttarakhand and his area of specialisation includes Management, Communication and Social Service. He is not related to any of the existing Directors of CSL.

Shri Prithviraj Harichandan is a Post Graduate in Management from Utkal University. He also holds a Degree of Master of Science in Zoology from Utkal University and MBA in HR & Finance from Amity University. Shri Prithviraj Harichandan hails from Odisha and his area of specialisation includes Management, Administration and Social Service. He is not related to any of the existing Directors of CSL.

Shri Venkatesan M holds a Post Graduate Degree in Arts from RKM Vivekananda College. He hails from Tamil Nadu and his area of specialisation includes Management and Administration. He is not related to any of the existing Directors of CSL.

Shri Abhijit Biswas is a Graduate in Commerce from Calcutta University. He has around 15 years of experiance as Financial Service Consultant. Shri Abhijit Biswas is a social worker and hails from West Bengal. He is not related to any of the existing Directors of CSL.
