Director/PDMR shareholding
Coats Group plc ("Coats" or the "Company"), the world's leading industrial thread and footwear components manufacturer, was notified on 27 September 2023 that Rajiv Sharma, Chief Executive Officer and a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMR"), acquired and sold ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the Company ("Shares") following the exercise of options, which included the right to dividend equivalents ("Dividend Shares"), granted under the Company's Deferred Annual Bonus Plan ("DABP") as set out below:

This holding, and the net unvested Deferred Annual Bonus awards that are not subject to performance conditions, fulfils more than twice the requirement to have a minimum shareholding of 200% of basic salary that applies to the Chief Executive under the Company's approved Remuneration Policy.
