TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

Coats Group plc ("Coats" or "the Company"), the world's leading industrial thread company, in conformity with Rule 5.6.1 of the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules and Article 15 of the Transparency Directive, announces that its total issued share capital as at 31 August 2022 consists of 1,597,810,385 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") with one voting right per share.  The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in Treasury.

Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 1,597,810,385. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
