In connection with the Coal Division Guidance provided in the CONSOL Energy Inc. (the “Company”) press release that was issued earlier today (January 27, 2011) announcing its 2010 fourth fiscal quarter results, we are providing the following information regarding thermal collars for 2011, 2012 and 2013 tonnage:

• Information for 2012 was unchanged from the earnings release filed for the prior quarter.
