Event to report – ANRE decision

National Power Grid Company Transelectrica S.A. informs the shareholders and stakeholders that the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) through the General Division of Licenses, Tariffs, Investment Monitoring communicated to the Company on 18.02.2022 ANRE Decision 167/16.02.2022 on the enforcement of Civil Sentence no. 3982/08.10.2018 of the Bucharest Court of Appeal that remained final by the Decision of the High Court of Cassation and Justice no. 2688/2021. ANRE document under number 29104/17.02.2022, registered within Transelectrica under number 7807/18.02.2022, briefly establishes the following:

• The regulated purchase price of the technological system services provided by Hidroelectrica for Transelectrica, recalculated for the periods:
• o 01.07.2015 30.06.2016 in the amount of 676.67 RON/hour-group and
• o 01.07.2016 30.06.2017 in the amount of 713.42 RON/hour-group.

The price difference resulting from the prices approved by ANRE through Decisions 1377/25.06.2015 and 1035/22.06.2016 relative to Decision 167/16.02.2022 is in the amount of RON 21,340,716, according to ANRE specifications, detailed below:

• Transelectrica pays to Hidroelectrica the total amount mentioned in the previous point, until 31.12.2022. Transelectrica fully recovers the total amount mentioned in the sum of RON 21,340,716, through the regulated tariff for system services, in the next tariff period;
• The decision shall take effect on the notification date;
• ANRE decision is available online in the public register of decisions issued by ANRE, namely: https://portal.anre.ro/PublicLists/Decizie,

The management of the Company took note of ANRE Decision 167/16.02.2022, following to undertake the necessary legal diligence in order to carry out the decision in question.
