National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA informs the investor public that on August 27, 2019, ANRE issued the observation and sanction minutes no. 74109 by which the Company's sanction was established, in accordance with art. 93 para. (2) item 2 letter c) of the Law on electricity and natural gas no. 123/2012, for the transmission system operator's non-compliance with the obligations stipulated in art. 15 of Regulation (EC) no. 714/2009, for seven contraventions with a fine amounting to a total of 2,400,000 lei, the Company having the possibility to pay within no more than 15 days from the communication date of the minutes, half of the minimum total fine provided by the legal act, in the amount of 70,000 lei, in accordance with the provisions of art. 94 of the Law on electricity and natural gas no. 123/2012, with later amendments and additions, corroborated with the provisions of art. 28 para.(1) of Government Ordinance no. 2 of July 12, 2001 on the legal regime of contraventions, approved with amendments and additions by Law no. 180/2002, with later amendments and additions.

The Company will analyse the motivation presented in the minutes in question in order to exercise the right to challenge in court the possible irregularities within it.
