Important event to report: Extending the mandates of the provisional members of the Directorate

National Power Grid Company Transelectrica S.A. informs the shareholders and investors that, in accordance with its statutory and legal attributions, the Supervisory Board decided in the meeting of April 19, 2023, with regard to the termination on 24.04.2023 of the mandates of provisional Directorate members, the following:

• based on the conditions of art. 64² of GEO no. 109/2011 on the corporate governance of public enterprises with later amendments and additions, the extension with 2 months starting with 25.04.2023, of the mandates of provisional Directorate members, of Gabriel ANDRONACHE, Ștefăniță MUNTEANU, Cătălin-Constantin NADOLU, Florin Cristian TĂTARU and Bogdan TONCESCU, but no later than the completion of the selection procedure according to the provisions of GEO 109/2011 on the corporate governance of public enterprises, with subsequent amendments and addition;
• in accordance with the provisions art. 23 para. (1) of the Articles of Association of National Power Grid Company Transelectrica S.A., Mr. Gabriel ANDRONACHE was elected Directorate Chairman, alternatively called General Executive Director or Chief Executive Officer - "CEO" of the National Electric Power Transport Company "Transelectrica" SA.
