Important event to report – Changes in the Company's management

National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA informs the shareholders and investors that, in the meeting of October 16, 2019, the Supervisory Board has decided the following:

• ➢ the Supervisory Board has extended the provisional member mandates of the Executive Board, starting with October 21, 2019, for a period of two months, of the following persons:
  • Claudia - Gina ANASTASE
  • Andreea - Georgiana FLOREA
  • Adrian SAVU
  • ➢ the Supervisory Board has appointed the following persons as Executive Board provisional members, starting with October 21, 2019, for a period of two months:
    • Virgiliu IVAN
    • Luca - Nicolae IACOBICI
• ➢ the Supervisory Board has appointed as Chairperson of the Executive Board, also called Chief Executive Officer or "Chief Executive Officer - "CEO" - of the Company" of National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA, starting with October 21, 2019, for a period of two months, Mrs. Claudia-Gina ANASTASE.
• ➢ the Supervisory Board has decided to appoint Mr. Florin - Radu Ciocănelea as member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Energy Security Committee of the Company's Supervisory Board.

The mandate of the Executive Board provisional members will not exceed the date of the selection procedure of National Power Grid Company Transelectrica – SA's Executive Board members, under the conditions of GEO no. 109/2011, if the procedure will be completed within this interval.
