RESULTS OF THE ISSUANCE OF THE 2020 FIRST TRANCHE MEDIUM-TERM NOTES
This announcement is made by China Molybdenum Co., Ltd. (the “ Company ”) pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “ Listing Rules* ”) and Inside Information Provisions (as defined under the Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571, Laws of Hong Kong).
We refer to the announcement dated 12 April 2019 in relation to the acceptance of registration of medium-term notes of the Company and the announcements of the Company dated 29 March 2018 and 25 May 2018 and the circular of the Company dated 23 April 2018 in relation to, among other things, the proposed issuance of debt financing instruments.
I. REGISTRATION OF THE MEDIUM-TERM NOTES
In accordance with the notice of acceptance of registration issued on 10 April 2019 (Zhong Shi Xie Zhu [2019] MTN No. 151) (the “ Notice ”) from the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors (the “ Association ”), the Association accepted the registration of the Company’s medium-term notes. Pursuant to the Notice, the registration of the Company’s medium-term notes in a principal amount of RMB4 billion will be valid for a period of two years from the issuance date of the Notice (namely 10 April 2019). China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd. and China CITIC Bank Co., Ltd. will act as the joint lead underwriters

for the medium-term notes. The Company may issue the medium-term notes by installment during the valid period of registration and shall file with the Association before making any issuance which is required to be filed after the registration. Upon completion of the issuance, the results of issuance shall be disclosed through channels recognized by the Association.
II. ISSUANCE OF THE MEDIUM-TERM NOTES
In accordance with the Notice, the Company successfully issued the 2020 first tranche of medium-term notes. The issuance results are as follows:
