VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT

APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER

This is a voluntary announcement made by China Molybdenum Co., Ltd. (the “ Company ”).

At the twenty-eighth meeting of the forth session of the board of directors of the Company (the “ Board ”) held on 31 January 2018, it was resolved that Ms. Wu Yiming (“ Ms. Wu ”) be appointed as the deputy general manager of the Company with effect from 31 January 2018 until 30 January 2021, for a term of three years.

Ms. Wu, aged 42, graduated from Fudan University in 1997 and then obtained a master of management degree from Stanford University in July 2008. Ms. Wu has extensive experience in legal affair management, financial management, assets management and corporate management. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Wu successively served as the senior head of legal affairs, deputy director and director of the assets management department of Shanghai Baosteel International Economic and Trading Co., Ltd.; the board secretary and the director of assets and financial department and the assistant president of Baosteel Resources Co., Ltd.; the assistant president of Baosteel Resources (International) Co., Ltd.; the vice president of Baosteel Resources Co., Ltd. and Baosteel Resources (International) Co., Ltd.; and the board secretary of Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd..
